Osteopathic Practitioner

Available at multiple locations

Melanie graduated in 1999 from The Institut d’enseignement de l’osteopathie du Quebec. She also holds a degree in Biology from the University of Montreal. To compliment her practice as an osteopath, Melanie has completed a registered massage therapy program. She will be accepting new massage patients in the Fall of 2017.

Osteopathy literally means the treatment or 'sick bones,' however, osteopathic treatment is much more involved. It is a gentle treatment that effects different systems and tissues in the body to promote healing and to improve function.

Melanie’s specialty is cranial osteopathy. She is involved in the treatment of concussions, strokes, depression and emotional trauma. Cranial osteopathy is a practice that involves not only work on the cranium and brain, but encompasses the whole body in its treatment protocol. Melanie is registered with the Society for the Promotion of Manual Practice Osteopathy (BC) and treats people of all ages.

Melanie is currently accepting new patients for osteopathy. Osteopathy treatements may be covered under your extended health plan; please check with your provider.
