Melissa began her post-secondary education at St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick and completed her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and French in 1997. Melissa moved to Nova Scotia later on and started her career in massage therapy in 2001. She graduated and finished as a fast track student.

Since then, Melissa has worked at various multi-disciplinary clinics, as well as started her private practice. Melissa has learned to use various tools to help treat clients with acute and chronic pain. She incorporates the Bowen technique with her treatments as well as other modalities to help with pain. With over 20 years of experience as a RMT, Melissa continues to treat people on a daily basis. In her spare time, she spends time with family and tries to go for walks out in nature.
