Meredith attended the University of Tulsa in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on a rowing scholarship as a member of the NCAA Division I Women’s Rowing Team and graduated with honours with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training.

Throughout university, Meredith balanced collegiate rowing with working as a student athletic trainer with Tulsa’s football, volleyball, soccer, and track and field teams, and was awarded the “Outstanding Athletic Training Student” award. After graduation, Meredith moved to Calgary as a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer and NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and successfully challenged the Canadian Athletic Therapist Association national exams to become a Certified Athletic Therapist. Meredith is a primary therapist in the Return to Work Program at Lifemark Father David Bauer Arena. She has a special interest in rehabilitation for firefighters and police officers, providing end stage rehabilitation to return to physically demanding service careers.

Meredith was born and raised in Kingston, Ontario. Outside of work, Meredith loves to play soccer, hike, and volunteer with the youth group at her church.
