Miranda graduated with Honors from Western University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology in 2016, followed by a Master of Science in Physiotherapy degree, from Queen's University in 2019. While at Western University, Miranda was elected as the student athletic therapist for the Western Softball team in her senior year. From this unique experience she developed a valuable skill set working with sports injuries and athletes.
Through experience, Miranda has also developed a strong interest in orthopedic physical therapy and has advanced her learning through continuing education courses. Since graduation she has completed post graduate training in soft tissue release, myofascial release, concussion therapy, cancer treatment, and pain management. Miranda plans on furthering her education and skill set to broaden her scope of practice in the coming years.
Miranda’s treatment uses an evidence-based approach by combining manual therapy, individualized exercise programs, and education to motivate patients to reach their functional goals. Additionally, she uses a holistic approach with examining patients, and attempts to build a strong therapeutic alliance in order to help patients reach their full physical potential.
Outside of the clinic, Miranda enjoys running, biking, playing soccer, strength training, travelling, trying new foods, as well as being in the company of friends and family!
