Namrata was born in Punjab, India. She moved to Canada in 2016. She is fully registered practicing physiotherapist in Alberta. Moving around frequently allowed her to meet a lot of people and learn how to quickly foster relationships.
She works full time at Vermilion hospital and works part time in evening, three days a week at Alta Sask – Lloydminster branch. Her passion towards human movements and human biomechanics have led her to pursue her carrier in physiotherapy where she can utilize her knowledge to best to help the people to manage their aches and pain.
Her expertise is in orthopedics and sports injuries and she has a special interest in treating neuro-muscular-skeletal injuries. She has a wide exposure working in private clinics and hospital. Her main focus of treatment approach is based on manual therapy in combination of exercise protocols which helps the patients to achieve their functional independence.
Namrata strongly believes that knowledge is wealth is always excited to learn from her peers, patients and on post-graduation courses. She has completed Level-2 concussion management workshop and will be going for dry needling course soon.
She understand that education is an essential component of treatment and strive to empower her clients with knowledge about their conditions and how to best manage them.
