Nathan is a graduate of both Acadia University (Bachelor of Kinesiology, 2015) and ICT Northumberland College’s 2200 hour Massage Therapy program (2017). Beginning with Lifemark in June 2017, Nathan has used his diverse skill set and patient-centred approach to help create positive, functional changes through a variety of techniques and modalities.
During his time at Northumberland College, Nathan worked with a diverse group of individuals including members of the Halifax Mooseheads, trained circus performers, and members of the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada’s Atlantic Division. Nathan’s treatment style is flexible and personalized, using a blend of general Swedish massage, fascial techniques, stretching,myofascial trigger point release, and deep tissue techniques.
As a graduate of Acadia University’s Bachelor of Kinesiology program, Nathan took special interest in fitness training and working with seniors. During this time, Nathan was able to build on his knowledge surrounding exercise planning, stretching and strengthening, and counseling individuals through the process of integrating healthy lifestyle changes that last.
Nathan establishes a team dynamic with his patients, working with their interests, abilities, and resources to allow them to reach their personal health goals.
