Nikki graduated from the University of Alberta in 2009 with a Master of Science Degree in Physical Therapy. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Memorial University of Newfoundland. Nikki played several competitive sports growing up with an interest in basketball and softball.
She has lived in Fort Saskatchewan for the past 10 years working as a physiotherapist at the Fort Saskatchewan Community Hospital. With a growing women’s health and labor/delivery program at the hospital she has taken an interest in pelvic health. Over the past two years she has completed Level I, II, and III pelvic health courses as well as a pregnancy and pelvic girdle pain course through Pelvic Health Solutions.
Through a detailed pelvic health assessment, patient education, and functional exercise she is passionate about treating issues related to pelvic pain, incontinence, pre/post gynecological surgeries, pregnancy, postpartum and menopause. Nikki is an advocate for patients being an active participant in their rehab and recovery.
Outside of work, Nikki enjoys spending time with her family, playing recreational sports, running, golfing and volunteering for her kid’s school and their activities.
