Nolan graduated from the University of Alberta with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 2018. He also holds an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from the U of A. Nolan has always lived a very active lifestyle participating in high levels of sport throughout his life. Before entering university, Nolan worked as an electrician where he gained insight into the effect heavy and repetitive work has on the human body.
He understands how important physical well-being is to all people and this is what drove Nolan to pursue his Physiotherapy degree. Nolan is interested in helping all populations return to their optimal physical function and uses various treatment techniques including manual therapy and functional dry needling. He also believes in active treatment and uses exercise therapy to help people develop independence in their daily exercise routines.
Nolan has taken courses in vestibular rehabilitation and hopes to assist people in regaining their confidence and balance. He plans to continue taking orthopedic courses as well as progressing his needling certification in the near future.
