Patti has a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. She also has certification in medical acupuncture and has her provincial registration as an acupuncturist.
Patti has lectured for local, provincial, and national conferences on the state of the art fitness, ergonomics, women’s health, acupuncture, traditional Chinese medicine and mind, body, spirit wellness. She has lectured at women’s retreats as well as cancer therapy retreats on the benefits of acupuncture. She has over eleven years of experience as a clinic director and participated in a number of organization committees for physical therapy, environmental and biological symposiums, and visioning groups for the acupuncture standards and the Town of Canmore.
Patti has assisted with teaching at the University of Alberta medical acupuncture program, and with clinical studies in women’s health issues and acupuncture. Patti utilizes traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture, Reiki, and other forms of energy treatments and meditation with her traditional physical therapy practice.
