Priscilla graduated from the Master of Physical Therapy program at the University of Toronto in 2008. Prior to completing her Master's program, she completed a Bachelor of Kinesiology and Health Sciences at York University where she obtained a certificate in Fitness Assessment and Exercise Counselling and had the opportunity to participate in firefighter fitness testing sessions and in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft fitness testing. She is also fluent in French and English.
Throughout her career as a registered physiotherapist, Priscilla has had the opportunity to work in various rehabilitation settings including hospitals and private clinics. Priscilla's main interests lay in manual therapy and she has taken several post-graduate courses such as Mulligan treatment techniques, taping and manual therapy level courses offered through the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA). Priscilla also has a special interest in treating Scoliosis and Scheuermann's Disease and has completed her Schroth BSPTS C1 level certification.
Priscilla believes in a holistic approach to health and treatment and encourages her clients to play an active role in their recovery. Through her own experience and sporting injuries in Judo Martial Arts, she also understands the importance of returning to previous activities/sports in a timely and safe manner and will work with her clients to develop individualized programs to meet their rehabilitation goals.
