Rachel is a graduate of Queen’s University, where she received a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. Originally from Nova Scotia, she also holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology from Acadia University. Rachel is a member of the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario, as well as a member of the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists.
Through clinical placements associated with her occupational therapy degree, Rachel has gained experience in a variety of practice settings including driving assessment and rehab, school health, wheelchair seating, augmentative/alternative communication, private practice, and community mental health and addictions. She has also completed continued education in cognitive behavioural therapy. Rachel aims to help clients who are experiencing physical, cognitive, or emotional impairments, to meet their goals of returning to work, school, or to their meaningful daily activities.
Outside of work, Rachel enjoys hiking, reading, and attending live music performances.
