Ravi graduated from the University of Calgary in 2004 where she received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Health Physiology with Distinction. She then attended the University of Alberta faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine where she received a Master of Physical Therapy in 2006. Ravi continued to expand her knowledge through training in orthopedic manual therapy, acupuncture and Gunn IMS.
After having her two young children (2013 and 2015), Ravi gained a new awareness and appreciation for pelvic health. She completed training which covered lumbopelvic pain, urinary retention and bowel constipation, bladder and bowel incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse and pain with sex.
Ravi’s experiences have allowed her to develop a dynamic approach to therapy and have given her the skills to accommodate a diverse clientele. She volunteers as the treasurer for the Southern Alberta orthopedic unit, which is a not-for-profit group that organizes manual therapy courses for physiotherapists to further their education.
Ravi enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children. She likes to be active with running, hiking, gym activities, yoga and walking her Golden Lab retriever Barkley.
