Reid graduated with a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University in his native province of Nova Scotia. Prior to completing his Masters, he graduated with a Bachelor of Kinesiology from Acadia University. While at Acadia, Reid worked as a student athletic therapist with the varsity football team, and also provided athletic therapy coverage at local soccer tournaments.
Reid is currently pursuing courses through the Orthopaedic Division of Canada to further his manual therapy skills.
Reid enjoys working with patients of all ages. He tailors each patient’s treatment and exercise program to meet the requirements of their job, hobbies, and lifestyle. He strongly believes in educating his patients, and providing them with the tools to advance and maintain their own health.
Reid enjoys the social component of his job, and strives to make physiotherapy enjoyable and interesting for all of his patients.
Growing up, Reid was very involved in martial arts, specifically Shotokan karate, in which he achieved his first-degree black belt. He continues to enjoy an active lifestyle through hiking, kayaking, skiing, playing tennis, and working out at the gym.
