Sarah is a graduate of the Master of Science in Occupational Therapy program at Queen’s University. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Sarah is a member of the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario, as well as a member of the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists.
Throughout her clinical placements associated with her occupational therapy degree, Sarah has gained experience in a variety of practice settings, including seniors’ and restorative rehabilitative care, pediatrics and school health, and assistive technology. Sarah has a decade of experience in the healthcare field and has completed professional development and continuing education in the areas of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), and sensory-based approaches.
Sarah’s core values of connection, patience, creativity, and balance support her passion for enabling health and well-being through engagement in meaningful activities. Sarah supports clients who are experiencing physical, cognitive, emotional, or environmental barriers to engagement to achieve their goals of returning to work, school, leisure pursuits, or activities of daily living.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys painting, walking her dog, and playing sports including hockey and soccer.
