Stephanie Keezer joined the Lifemark team in 2019. Stephanie is a registered psychologist who holds a Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology from Memorial University of Newfoundland. Stephanie is a member of the Association of Psychologists in Newfoundland and Labrador. She is an educational psychologist representative on the Newfoundland and Labrador Counsellors and Psychologists Association, and a representative from Education on the Newfoundland and Labrador chapter of the Canadian Mental Health Association’s Education Committee.
Stephanie has a range of counselling experience working with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, stress, grief, life transitions, injury and chronic pain, workplace related issues and more. Stephanie is also an experienced assessor; skilled at administering and interpreting on a variety of psychological and psych-educational assessment tools. Stephanie also holds experience in interpreting those assessments in the context of workplace screening and vocational rehabilitation.
Stephanie’s passion is helping individuals who have experienced painful and/or traumatic life events. Stephanie operates from a client centered approach drawing in several theoretical perspectives which can meet the unique needs of her clients.
Stephanie believes at the core of any successful counselling treatment is the relationship between the clinical and the client. She works hard to establish a trusting and secure therapeutic relationship, and engages in continual professional learning to bring evidence based, current best practice to her work with clients.
