Terilyn graduated from the University of Ottawa with an Honour's Bachelor of Health Sciences with a Minor in Gerontology in 2012. She then went on to complete a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy with the University of Toronto in 2014. She has been a registered member with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists since 2015 and is a member of the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists.
Terilyn has worked in vocational rehabilitation since graduating. She is certified in WorkWell Functional Capacity Evaluations, and is Matheson trained in Cognitive Abilities Evaluations/Cognitive Functional Capacity Evaluations. Terilyn also has experience with Ergonomic Assessments, Job Demands Analyses, Home Assessments, Worksite Assessments, Assistive Devices/Adaptive Technology recommendations, Psychosocial and Cognitive Assessments and treatment, and Case Management.
In addition to vocational rehabilitation, Terilyn has experience working with older adults in the Long Term Care setting. She is trained in Comprehensive Lower Leg Assessments and Wheelchair Assessments/Prescription, among providing other interventions to address safety and participation in activities of daily living.
