Tracy completed a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta in 2012. Prior to that she completed a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Calgary in 2010. She has spent the past 7 years working in private practice sports injury clinics in Edmonton and Camrose, AB. Tracy strives to help her client’s take a central role in their rehabilitation journey with a focus on individualized exercise programs, and self-management strategies to optimize their function and quality of life. She believes in a tailored treatment program specific to each client, and uses an evidence based approach in her treatment planning.
Tracy believes in life-long learning and has taken several post graduate courses, which have aided her in developing a well rounded treatment approach for her clients. She is certified to perform spinal manipulations, as well as functional dry needling. She has taken further manual therapy training through the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and has also completed further education in the prevention and treatment of running injuries through The Running Clinic.
In her time away from the clinic Tracy loves to spend time outdoors with her two kids, is a recreational runner, golfs and frequents a variety of fitness classes. She tries to live and promote a healthy and active lifestyle, and loves to help her client’s do the same.
