Trevor Moizumi is an experienced physiotherapist who graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Master of Physiotherapy degree in 2007. He previously worked in Active Rehabilitation for several years, having completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University.
Trevor has worked in a variety of areas including private practice, occupational rehabilitation, vestibular and concussion care, and leadership/management. He has completed numerous post-graduate certifications in manual therapy, acupuncture/dry needling, exercise therapy, concussion and vestibular rehabilitation. Of note, he is fully credentialed in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment of the Spine and Extremities, completed medical acupuncture certification with the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada and is a Certified Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) therapist.
Trevor is also specifically trained to provide treatment with both low and high intensity laser systems, which are scientifically proven to help alleviate pain and accelerate recovery following acute and chronic neuromusculoskeletal injuries.
He is an avid trail runner and enjoys a variety of outdoor pursuits, including mountain biking, paddling, climbing, and hiking. Trevor has a passion for learning and is regularly scanning the medical research so that he may provide the best care for his patients.
