About

Alex graduated from Dalhousie University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, and completed his honours thesis in exercise physiology. Following graduation, Alex returned to Dalhousie to complete a Master of Physiotherapy, graduating in 2017.

Throughout his years in school, Alex developed a passion for working with athletes. He has been a trainer with Dalhousie and MSVU athletic programs, as well as provincial soccer and hockey teams across Nova Scotia. Currently, Alex is a trainer for the Dartmouth Whalers Major Bantam hockey program, and is gathering hours to complete his advanced sporting levels and, one day, hopes to accompany Team Canada to the Olympics.

Alex is a firm believer in living an active lifestyle and preventing injuries before they occur. He believes that combining exercise and manual therapy is the key to the rehabilitation process.

Alex plans to pursue post-graduate certifications in dry needling and advanced manual therapy, to offer more for his clients.

Alex has lived in Nova Scotia his whole life, but has been an avid traveler of the world. He enjoys exploring and being outdoors. In his spare time, he enjoys playing basketball, strength lifting, and being with family and friends.
