Yatrika completed her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta. Prior to this, she received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health Science (Specialized Honours) as well as Bachelor of Education at York University. She is certified with the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology as an Exercise Physiologist (CSEP-CEP) and has worked with a variety of populations ranging from professional hockey players to the general population.
Yatrika has a strong interest in treating shoulder and knee injuries as well as a variety of other conditions. Yatrika uses a combination of manual therapy, tailored exercises, modalities and education specific to each individual client’s needs to ensure patients receive the appropriate care.
Yatrika uses education as a way to increase awareness about human movement, which can help to reduce the risk of injury and enhance performance.
Outside of the clinic, Yatrika enjoys staying active whether it’s outdoors biking or at the gym lifting weights. She also enjoys creating a variety of artwork ranging from animals to comic book superheroes.
