Makram graduated from Cairo University with a Master of Physiotherapy in 2011 after completing his Honours Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2006. He continued his education to assure quality of care for his patients by completing several extensive acupuncture courses to address multiple musculoskeletal problems. In 2015, Makram started his journey treating post-concussion syndrome and vestibular patients. He has gained significant experience that has allowed him to help many patients suffering from head trauma, neurological conditions, osteoarthritis, post-operative rehabilitation, hand therapy, and tempo-mandibular joint (TMJ) pain.

Makram is a big believer in manual therapy techniques, and he became a certified spinal manipulation therapist (CSPT) in 2016. He is also a proponent of patient education, and he ensures his patients are equipped with helpful self-management techniques and a working knowledge of biomechanics. Over the years, Makram has achieved outstanding therapeutic results with his patients through the combined use of manual therapy, acupuncture, spinal manipulation, cupping, and exercise rehabilitation.

Makram is good with children, and he previously managed a summer camp for three years. He enjoys doing many different activities with his family, including traveling, photography, sculpturing, and snorkeling.
