About
Ashlin graduated from the University of Alberta in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology (with distinction) and went on to complete her MasterĀ of Physical Therapy in 2013. As an avid learner, Ashlin has completed Orthopedic Manual Therapy Courses, K Taping Pro, Certificate of the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute and can provide dry needling as a certified Gokavi Transverse Technique Practitioner.
Ashlin has a special interest in treating Vestibular and Post Concussion conditions. She completed the Competency- Based Course for Vestibular Rehabilitation from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She has also completed Best Practices in Concussion Management and Complex Case Management through Shift Concussion Management Program.
Ashlin truly enjoys collaborating with patients of any age and formulating a treatment plan that includes evidence-based care, education, manual therapy, meaningful exercise and other adjuncts (such as acupuncture, cupping, dry needling, shockwave); with the ultimate goal of assisting her patients to get back to what matters most to them.
In her free time Ashlin can be found outside playing with her young family, tackling the next acreage project with her husband, taking the family dog for a run, gardening, camping or if weather keeps her indoors, she can usually be found with a good book.
