Bhumika is an internationally trained Physiotherapist. She studied Fitness and Health Promotion at Durham College Oshawa before obtaining her physiotherapy license in Canada. She has previous experience in the treatment of physical injuries (musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, neurological) from India.  She has been a member, in good standing, with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario since 2022.

Bhumika is interested in treating musculoskeletal and sports injuries as well as geriatric conditions. Her therapy sessions include hands-on manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and education. She uses cupping therapy, gua sha tools, acupuncture, dry-needling, MacKenzie and Mulligan approaches, alongside shockwave therapy to ensure patients achieve their goals.

Bhumika continues to acquire further training to improve her skills. She possesses excellent communication skills and tries to make the therapeutic environment professional, friendly and comfortable for all her patients. Bhumika chose a career in Physiotherapy as she is driven and excited to make changes in people’s lives, promote wellbeing, and assist them in achieving their goals.

Beyond the clinic, Bhumika enjoys playing recreational badminton, biking, and cooking. She calls herself a foodie and she loves playing cards and spending time with friends and family.
