Lexie graduated from the University of Winnipeg with her Bachelor of Science in 2014, and continued on to complete her Master of Physical Therapy in 2017. In her final year of study Lexie was selected to be part of the Advanced Orthopedic Manual Therapy placement, a great privilege to learn under FCAMPT therapists. Lexie has obtained her Level 1 and Level 2 Upper Extremity orthopedic certifications and plans to work through higher levels in spinal and extremity manual therapy. She has obtained her acupuncture accreditation as well as taking courses on SFMA and Mulligan concepts.

Lexie has enjoyed giving back to the profession by being an active member with the Communications Committee of the Manitoba Physiotherapy Association. She has also volunteered her time at events such as the CoRs Open House, the Physio Fit Run, the Manitoba Marathon, and Ballet in the Park.

Having been introduced to physiotherapy through competitive sport at a young age, Lexie knew that it was the profession for her. She grew up playing provincial and university level soccer, as well as dancing extensively for many years. She continues to stay active and still enjoys soccer, weight training and yoga. Outside of physical activity you can find her baking, cooking and travelling!
