About

Jason completed a Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta in 2012. Prior to this, he completed a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology and Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Saskatchewan.

Jason takes an active approach to physiotherapy treatment and combines manual therapy and dry needling with a comprehensive exercise program. He has clinical experience working with a diverse range of injuries and conditions including sports injuries, motor vehicle accidents, work-related injuries, and orthopaedic post-operative rehabilitation.

As a former National team athlete who competed internationally for numerous years, he understands the importance of timely injury rehabilitation, injury prevention and the hard work involved with this aspect of competitive sport. His research background allows him to stay up to date with recent research in physiotherapy to ensure he provides effective evidence-based treatments.

In addition to his work in the clinic, he has worked with Canoe Kayak Canada since 2013. His role with CKC includes working with the local National team athletes, as well as serving as the travelling team physio for multiple international events and World championships. Outside of work, Jason enjoys playing hockey, kayaking, and spending time in the mountains.
