About

Jodi-Ann Vaz-Alcide is a resident physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. In 2012, Jodi-Ann received her BSc in Physical Therapy from the University of the West Indies-Mona, Jamaica. For the next three years Jodi-Ann gained extensive clinical experience in neurology, cardiopulmonary, orthopaedics, intensive care, geriatrics, and pediatrics.

Jodi-Ann's love for the profession continued to grow, gaining more experience over the next seven years in the Bahamas. During this time, Jodi-Ann sought to advance her knowledge and skills by pursuing a Doctorate in Physiotherapy degree from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences Florida in 2020. Jodi-Ann also completed several courses in cupping therapy, kinetic taping, muscle energy techniques and functional integrated dry needling.

Jodi-Ann strives to provide quality care to her patients. Jodi-Ann hopes to complete further certifications in Acupuncture, concussion and vestibular therapy in order to meet the growing demands of the patient population.
