About
Kasia graduated from the U of A in 2017 with a Bachelor in Kinesiology, specialization in sport performance. She is currently furthering her education in athletic therapy and is certified in WorkWell functional capacity evaluations. She is also in the process of obtaining her certificate in exercise physiology through the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology.
Kasia has practiced in private clinical settings as well as sports teams and worked with several age groups with a diversity of conditions. She has special interests in sports and more specifically sport injuries like concussions, musculoskeletal and post-surgery. One of the main reasons why she perused this career is to help people return to work, rehabilitate injuries as well as prescribe exercises. She values the importance of educating clients on how exercise can improve their road to recovery. Kasia also believes that prescribing the proper exercises, educating on proper techniques and healthy lifestyles is an important part of rehabilitation in order to get back to a good quality of life.
When she is not working, Kasia enjoys activities such as camping, skiing and swimming. She is also part of a Polish dance group and enjoys going to the gym and spin class.
