Kristen graduated from the Canadian College of Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2023 with a diploma of Acupuncture. Prior to her Acupuncture Diploma, she completed a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Prince Edward Island in 2020, with an honors project in heart rate variability.

During her time at UPEI, Kristen gained experience working with Veterans through the Horse Human Research Project geared towards improving PTSD symptoms.  She is excited to continue her work with Veterans using Acupuncture treatment as a component of their multidisciplinary rehab plan.

Growing up, Kristen played high performance hockey, and was affected by both concussions, and post-concussion syndrome. She experienced first-hand how Acupuncture helped support her recovery during that time and she is excited to help others through their recovery process.

In her spare time, Kristen enjoys hiking with her dog Jersey, paddle boarding, and travelling.
