About
Laura has been practicing occupational therapy for over 10 years. After completing a degree in Psychology in BC, she moved to Alberta to continue her rehabilitation education, getting a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Alberta. Laura has experience providing community-based occupational therapy for adults living in their homes. She gained invaluable experience as an interdisciplinary team member, case manager, and preceptor that continues to provide a strong and evidence-based rehabilitation foundation for her work as a community-based therapist. Laura has special interests in cognitive rehabilitation, seating assessments and home safety assessments. Laura is a life-long learner and has continued to enhance her skills to compliment her OT practice. Outside of work, she is a mother of three young children, enjoying hiking in Banff and urban homesteading.
