Mitchell graduated from Acadia University with a Bachelor of Kinesiology with Honours in 2020. He is a Practicing Kinesiologist with the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists.

Born and raised on the East Coast, Mitchell became fascinated with injury rehabilitation during his undergraduate degree. This led him to volunteer with the Men’s Varsity Hockey team as a student therapist. In his final academic year, he completed his first thesis titled “An Exploration of Intrinsic and Extrinsic Factors Influencing the Mental Health of Athletes Recovering From a Concussion.”

Mitchell has worked with a variety of clientele for issues that include musculoskeletal injuries, concussion rehabilitation and chronic injuries. He believes in not only addressing your injury but also developing long-term healthy habits. He loves to chat but is keen to listen!

Mitchell enjoys hockey, hiking and playing his guitar. He dabbles in the occasional video game as well.
