Austin is a Registered Physiotherapy who completed his Master of Science in Physiotherapy (with distinction) at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland where he was named a Saltire Scholar by the Scottish Government.
His approach to Physiotherapy focuses on both collaboration and patient-centred care. Austin will work with you to establish your goals for rehabilitation and to develop a collaborative plan (with your goals at the centre of the plan) to provide you with strategies to manage your pain, incorporate more movement into your life, and to get you back to the things you love the most – whatever that looks like to you!
Austin is a firm believer of lifelong learning and has completed professional development courses in hip and shoulder pain and has recently completed a communication mentorship – it is the most used skill a Physiotherapist uses after all!
Outside of work, Austin enjoys both playing and refereeing basketball locally, learning guitar, travelling, watching F1, and trying to be the next Canadian to appear on Survivor!
