About

Ellen graduated from Queen’s University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy. She has been working at Lifemark Max Bell Sports Physiotherapy since.

She has continued her post-graduate education with a certificate in orthopedic manual therapy from Curtin University in Perth, Australia, 2007 and a certificate in manipulative therapy in 2011. She also received accreditation from the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute since 2006, allowing her to utilize this treatment method with many of her clients.

Since 2009, Ellen has also enjoyed treating vestibular and concussion clients. In March 2013, she received a certificate in vestibular rehabilitation from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. Over the years, she has also taken specific courses in concussion therapy and mild traumatic brain injury to improve her skill set while working with these clients.

With a long history of playing and coaching competitive rugby, gymnastics and swimming, she loves working with athletes on rehabilitating and preventing injuries. She has also worked with the Hornet’s premier men’s rugby club for seven years. Ellen is committed to motivating all of her patients to achieve full recovery and help prevent further injury through manual therapy, exercises and patient education.

In her spare time, Ellen enjoys downhill skiing, climbing, and mountain biking. She also loves exploring and spending time in the mountains with her husband and two kids.
