Mehrdad completed his Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Kinesiology and Health Sciences at York University. During his time at York University, he was a member of Dean’s Honour Roll list for his outstanding GPA. Mehrdad travelled to the UK in 2018 to pursue his Master of Science in Physical therapy. He graduated from Leeds Beckett University in 2020.

During his clinical placement, he had the opportunity to work with a variety of patients from athletes to elderly population and practice in a variety of clinical settings. Mehrdad’s approach in treating an injury involves a whole-body approach to treat the main cause rather than focusing on one single joint and treating the symptoms. This approach includes education on the injury, prevention of the injury and customizing a personal treatment plan that fits the patient’s needs.

During his treatment session, he likes to use different hands-on techniques and modalities with an emphasis on the importance of the home exercise plan.
