Skye graduated from Lakehead University in Thunder Bay with an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology and Graduate Diploma in Professional Kinesiology.

Working as a kinesiologist for five years, Skye has three years of experience working with older adults to improve physical activity and providing education regarding fall prevention and other health-related topics. She also has experience with chronic pain management, adaptive stroke exercises, pole walking, nutrition, and musculoskeletal injury rehabilitation. She believes active rehabilitation and health education are essential for effective recovery/self-management. 

When she is not working, Skye is usually on the ice playing hockey, tossing around a rugby ball, hiking with her dog, or reading a good book.
