About

Ilmun earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Alberta in 2022. His path to the clinic began on the basketball court, where his experiences as a player, referee, and coach gave him a first-hand understanding of athletic injuries. During his time as a Student Therapist for the U of A Golden Bears Men’s basketball team, where he received a Varsity Student Therapist Award, he developed a particular interest in biomechanics and injury prevention through proper movement techniques.

Driven by a passion for proactive care, Ilmun is board-certified in Ergonomics through the Canadian College for the Certification of Professional Ergonomists. He has extensive experience conducting physical and cognitive ergonomic assessments across sectors such as healthcare, construction, manufacturing, and energy. At Lifemark, Ilmun combines his expertise in injury rehabilitation and ergonomics to provide a holistic approach to musculoskeletal health, helping hard-working Albertans return to their daily activities with improved function and reduced risk of re-injury.

Outside the clinic, Ilmun remains connected to the basketball community. When he isn't playing or watching a game, he enjoys cycling, boxing, and MMA. An avid fan of physical media, he loves dissecting movies and shows, and is always exploring new creative outlets, from building computers to music production.
