
Satmeen Nagra
About
Satmeen graduated with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Queen's University in 2017 after receiving her Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto. She is a registered Occupational Therapist with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario and a member of the provincial and national societies for Occupational Therapists. She is actively involved in professional development and has completed post-graduate continuing courses in concussion management, return to work, ergonomics, cognitive rehabilitation, and cognitive behavioural therapy.
Satmeen has extensive experience in the clinic and community settings. She provides assessment and treatment for individuals who are experiencing difficulties performing essential tasks of daily living due to illness and/or injury, and assists them to successfully return to gainful employment and/or their normal activities of daily living. Satmeen has expertise in stress management, sleep hygiene, in-home assessments, discharge planning, job site and ergonomic assessments, job site-coaching, return to work readiness, and cognitive abilities evaluations and treatment.
Her treatment approach emphasizes the importance of treating clients holistically – being mindful of all aspects of an individual’s daily life to empower her clients in their recovery.
In her spare time, Satmeen enjoys spending quality time with close family and friends, and keeping up to date on sports and reality television. Satmeen is available in person and online via our virtual care platform, and is fluent in English and Punjabi.
