About

Simoni is a Registered Physiotherapist with a degree from Charotar University of Science and Technology, India (2018).

Simoni chose physiotherapy as an occupation because the process of assisting people in regaining normal movement and returning to their optimal function gives her the most pleasure. She has also attained her diploma in Recreation and Leisure Service from Centennial college in 2021.

With a wide variety of experiences, Simoni has gained invaluable knowledge in assessing and treating various conditions, particularly in, operative and/or post-operative, musculoskeletal, orthopaedic conditions. Simoni is passionate about seeing her patients get back to doing what they love the most by offering individualized treatment plans and collaborating with the patients to facilitate effective recoveries. She is very excited about the potential for the physical therapy field, and she is committed to advancing and advocating for its growth, advancement, and abilities. She uses a  variety of techniques in her treatment, including patient education, joint mobilizations, myofascial release, cupping, soft tissue release, acupuncture, and dry needling. She has participated in an acupuncture intro course and has completed upper extremity level with APTEI. She has also completed the Lifemark Vestibular course and helps people dealing with dizziness by using infra-red google technology. She has completed Soft tissue release Level 1. She is also Work well trained to conduct Functional Capacity Evaluations. 

In her leisure time, she enjoys canvas painting and listening to music.
