Blake received his Bachelor of Health and Physical Education with a major in Physical Literacy at Mount Royal University. He then completed his Master's of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta. In addition to his orthopedic training, Blake has previous experience in neurorehabilitation and acute medical care.
He enjoys working with a diverse patient population with a focus on helping provide patients with the education, exercise prescription, and hands-on care they need to live active healthy lives. Blake’s athletic resume includes wrestling and playing football in the CJFL and AFL as a receiver. Blake has an extensive background in strength development and athletic training and enjoys getting his patients to move. Blake is currently planning to expand his scope of practice to include functional dry needling soon.
Outside of work, you will likely find Blake working on his project car, watching mixed martial arts or American football, and spending time with family. Blake enjoys resistance training, short-distance running, and hiking – and he can usually be convinced to join a pick-up game of basketball.
