“I chose to work at Lifemark after meeting Cecile (Campus Recruiter) and Rebecca (Ontario OT Lead) at my university career fair. I never heard of the company before, but after meeting them I was able to understand the diverse range of services Lifemark is able to offer, which is what appealed to me most. I really enjoy the different programs Lifemark offers (LTD, Veterans works, MVA, WSIB) and the ability to work with clients from all different backgrounds.

The onboarding process was really supportive with two weeks of training, meetings with other OTs and opportunities to shadow and gain a sense of what day-to-day work will look like. I was also connected with a mentor who I get to meet on a frequent basis and provides significant support including answering any questions I have regarding client treatment, reviewing my reports, administrative duties, and anything else I may need help with. Overall, my experience joining Lifemark has been really positive, and as a new grad I feel like I have received the necessary support to make the transition between student and clinician!”
