Charlie graduated with a Master of Physical Therapy and attained his Bachelor in Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia. He currently holds a Level 1 Orthopaedic Manual Therapy Certification.
Charlie is a lifelong athlete and enjoys playing a variety of different sports including rugby, hockey, soccer, and combat sports. He also served two years in the Singapore Armed Forces as an officer in the military as part of his conscription duties. Throughout his journey in sports and in the military, Charlie has experienced many injuries and saw the importance of exceptional Physical Therapy and the impact it had on improving overall function and outlook. Charlie believes in forming his practice around the latest evidence and research. With a focus on client education, hands-on manual therapy, and exercise, he aims to empower his clients to take control of their own rehab journey.
Outside of the clinic, Charlie is a certified Krav Maga (self-defence) instructor and teaches at UBC during his spare time. You can also find him in the gym, golfing, hiking, or enjoying lazy mornings on the couch watching soccer.
