About

Daniel has had the privilege of practicing Physiotherapy for the past 36 years. The majority of his career has been in private practice although he has spent considerable time in long term care, home health, and hospital settings. He has practiced in Alberta, British Columbia, and spent just over 10 years in Montana, USA. He and his wife call Okotoks home and look forward  to getting to know their new community.

Patient education, attainable goals and a “keep things simple” attitude have always been primary treatment principles for him. Understanding the difference between fixing a problem and managing a problem is paramount to ultimate success. Therapeutic exercises and recognizing the difference between “good pain and bad pain” put the patient in the driver’s seat of their own health. Daniel uses a variety of manual therapy techniques, treatment modalities, and anatomical acupuncture in his practice. He has considerable experience and enjoys treating vertigo (BPPV).

Daniel has enjoyed playing basketball, soccer and hockey over the years, but lately he is satisfied with hopping on his bike, shooting a round of golf or going fly fishing. He carves, sculpts, and plays the guitar and is pursuing his bronze level certification in ballroom dancing.
