David Johnstone is a Registered Counselling Therapist Candidate who has a strong client-centred approach to psychotherapy. David is committed to helping his clients achieve their recovery goals by using a range of techniques that help them reach their full potential. He encourages his clients to use their strengths and abilities to achieve their desired outcomes.

David completed his Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology through Yorkville University and has been practicing counselling for several years in Nova Scotia. He has provided treatment to the Truro, Bible Hill area, as well as Amherst, New Glasgow, and Cape Breton. David is skilled in using Trauma-Informed Treatments, Brainspotting Therapy, Solution-Focused Treatment, and techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. He is also trained in Play Therapy treatments, including Sand Tray Therapy. David is passionate about helping his clients achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.
