About

Deborah has degrees in Physical Education from University of New Brunswick and a Bachelor of Science with a major in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University. In 1988, she worked as a Physiotherapist in Corner Brook, NF for two years, then moved to Halifax to manage a private clinic for two years.

Upon getting married, she moved to Ontario and worked at Georgetown Hospital. In 1994, North Bramalea Physiotherapy Clinic was founded. Deborah was the owner until March 2012 when North Bramalea became part of the Lifemark family. Deborah has continued on as North Bramalea’s clinical director, Physiotherapist and privacy officer.

Deborah’s achievements include being a certified functional capacities evaluator, and she has many courses in McKenzie protocol, TMJ dysfunction, acupuncture, working conditioning, manual therapy and post-partum health for moms. Deborah has recently taken special interest and educational courses in Pelvic Health Rehabilitation, Long-Term Disability and Chronic Pain.

In addition to her professional interests, Deborah has played many sports throughout her lifetime and now still plays soccer and tennis, along with a special interest in figure skating.

Deborah Pockett is also offering Virtual Care Services to rehabilitate the patients with any injuries, persistent pain, pelvic health, long term care, Motor Vehicle Accident Claimants, Work Hardening Program and Post-Surgical cases.
