Donna Matheson
About
Donna has over 20 years of experience in clinical practice, including a wide range of patient settings and a passion for treating those with cancer diagnoses throughout their survivorship continuum. She has worked for many years at Hennick Bridgepoint Hospital in various positions including medical rehabilitation and palliative care, and more recently at Princess Margaret Hospital’s Cancer Rehabilitation and Survivorship Program. She has added to this breadth of experience with the completion of her certification in Combined Decongestive Therapy for the treatment of lymphedema.
She additionally supports her patients with their other cancer treatment related side effects and needs, including optimizing their range of motion, strength and conditioning programming, scar tissue release, pain syndromes, and assisting them achieve whatever their return to work or activity goals may be.
Donna brings genuine compassion and a highly patient-centered approach in her exceptional physiotherapy care.
