Emily graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Master's degree in Physical Therapy and completed her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at the University of the Fraser Valley. Emily has worked with amputees in the past and is the key physiotherapist for our Amputee Rehabilitation program here. She also has completed her training in Vestibular Therapy and has a passion for helping those strugging with dizziness & balance issues.
Emily has been highly involved in adaptive sport. Stemming from her love of playing hockey, she partnered with Sport-ability to teach and lead sledge hockey for all ages. Emily’s passion for physical therapy stemmed from sustaining multiple injuries when playing university level hockey. Her own rehabilitation journeys and from her work with adaptive sports inspired her to join the wonderful profession. Emily is also an avid hiker with a goal to travel around the world to find the best hikes.
