About
Joleen first became interested in physiotherapy as a young athlete when she spent countless hours in rehabilitation for various injuries. She completed a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Kinesiology at Western University in 2005 and then graduated from McMaster University’s Master of Science - Physiotherapy program in 2007. Joleen is pursueing a Master of Clinical Science and CAMPT fellowship at Western University
Joleen began working at Lifemark in 2008. She continues to pursue post-graduate education in orthopaedics, manual therapy, pain science and concussion management. In her practice, Joleen promotes healthy living and self management and strives to provide her patients with evidence-based treatment. She uses manual therapy, exercise therapy, acupuncture and patient education in her treatment.
She is active in the community with patient education sessions and is a committee member for the Railway City Road Races, a 5 and 10 km race in St. Thomas.
