About

Joleen brings an advanced orthopaedic and manual therapy skill set to Lifemark Elm and Wilson. She has attained post-graduate professional training in physiotherapy, completing her Masters of Clinical Science (Manipulative Therapy) in 2015. She is also a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT), an internationally recognized qualification in hands-on therapy.  She graduated from McMaster University in 2007 with a Masters of Science (Physiotherapy) and completed a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Kinesiology at Western University in 2005.

Joleen continues to seek out opportunities for continued education to improve her patient’s recovery. She has completed training in vestibular rehabilitation, concussion, inflammatory arthritis, musculoskeletal imaging and advanced clinical reasoning to assist her patients in maximizing their recovery and provide advocacy for access to diagnostics and interventions outside of physiotherapy when needed.

In her clinical practice Joleen uses manual therapy techniques, functional exercise and plenty of education in her evidence-informed treatment following a thorough assessment.

Outside of the clinic Joleen leads a busy family life, full of adventure, hiking and travelling.  She strives to stay active and likewise encourages her patients to restore their activity level whether that is getting back into the game or lifting the grandkids.
