About
Margi Patel is a Registered Physiotherapist practicing in Alberta since July 2024. She holds a Master of Physiotherapy degree from India and brings over 10 years of clinical experience in rehabilitation and patient care. Margi is fluent in English and Hindi, allowing her to effectively communicate with and support patients from diverse backgrounds.
Throughout her career, Margi has worked in a variety of physiotherapy settings, including musculoskeletal rehabilitation, post-surgical rehabilitation, cardiovascular and pulmonary rehabilitation, women’s health, and post-kidney and liver transplantation rehabilitation. She has extensive experience treating patients of all age groups and is committed to helping individuals achieve their optimal level of function and quality of life.
Margi has a special interest in pain management and the treatment of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. She frequently works with patients experiencing shoulder, neck, and back pain, as well as plantar fasciitis and other movement-related conditions.
Her treatment approach combines evidence-based practice with individualized care, utilizing manual therapy, myofascial release, therapeutic exercise, laser therapy, and shockwave therapy. She also has experience managing Workplace Compensation Board (WCB) and Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) cases, including assessment, treatment planning, rehabilitation, and comprehensive clinical documentation.
