About
Marianna Lemos received her Bachelor of Physiotherapy in Brazil in 2007 and, in her more than 15 years as a Physiotherapist, has gained a wide variety of experience treating patients with all kinds of musculoskeletal injuries. Marianna has also completed post graduate education in a range of modalities including Myofascial Release, Manual Therapy, Postural Education, Pelvic Health, Prenatal, and Postpartum Care.
Marianna is the only Practitioner in Ontario certified in the Ehrenfried Method, a unique technique that evaluates the person as a whole, helping to improve overall posture and strength and resolve a wide variety of issues. She has also completed post-graduate training in Myofascial Release/Anatomy Trains which she finds very effective with a wide variety of clientele.
Marianna has a passion for treating women with Pelvic Health dysfunction and has completed post-graduate Pelvic Health training in Brazil and Canada. In the 8 years that Marianna has been treating women with Pelvic Dysfunction, she has gained extensive experience treating women throughout their lives, including during the prenatal and postpartum period. Marianna loves helping women stay strong during their pregnancy, feel empowered during the birth process and recover faster afterwards.
Marianna believes that every patient deserves a personalized approach for their recovery, and focusses on eliminating the root cause of their pain, leading to a more permanent resolution of their issue and not just alleviating their symptoms in the short term. Marianna is also a strong believer that education plays an integral role in successful treatment. With her patient-centered approach, passion to educate and her caring attitude, she motivates her patients to achieve a healthy long-term lifestyle.
She has a wide experience treating patients with musculoskeletal injuries of all kinds over 15 years of experience. Marianna has continued her education in a range of modalities including Myofascial Release, Manual Therapy, Postural Education, Pelvic Health, Prenatal, Postpartum Care.
In her personal time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and 2 sons, Artur and Mateus.
