Maryam has more than 10 years of experience in physical therapy at public and private physiotherapy facilities. She completed her physiotherapy degree at  Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in Tehran. She is experienced in the assessment and treatment of patients with various musculoskeletal dysfunction, post surgery rehabilitation and sports-related injuries. She uses education of injury prevention, manual therapy, hands-on techniques, postural education and exercises prescription. 

She is a member of the College of Physical Therapist of British Columbia (CPTBC) and Canadian Association of Physiotherapy (CAP).
