About

Richard earned a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from Université Laval in Quebec City in 1989. He later earned a Master of Medical Sciences from the University of Sherbrooke in 2001. He is a member in good standing of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.

Before joining Lifemark as Clinic Director at the Meadowvale Town Centre clinic, he owned several physiotherapy clinics in Quebec for more than 20 years. He has also worked as a consultant in the primary prevention of workplace musculoskeletal disorders. His clients have included IBM, Albany International, and a federal penitentiary, among others.

Richard has also contributed to the care and treatment of world-class tennis athletes and provided sports physiotherapy for athletes involved in golf, hockey, volleyball, and running.

With more than 35 years of experience, he aims to combine clinical expertise with evidence-based research. He strongly believes in using exercise programs to help patients become more independent and support successful rehabilitation. His physiotherapy practice incorporates manual therapy, acupuncture, the Cyriax method, the McKenzie method, patient education, therapeutic modalities, and Chinese and modern cupping techniques.

He is fluent in English, French, and sign language. In his free time, Richard enjoys travelling and watching movies.
